The Square Neck Minimalist - Fiesta Red

Doesn't have the sculpting effect like the minimalist.

This swimsuit is ok. I like that my boobs aren't falling out the sides like the minimalist but it runs large and doesn't give you that shapping effect that the minimalist does. I did read that in the other reviews but I was hoping they were exaggerating... and I was hesitant about sizing down because I didn't want it to be too short.. or too tight on my hips. For reference, I'm 5'6 140lbs with a short torso. Got a size medium.

I have the black, deep v neck in a small and I love it. I gained some weight and didn’t love how it fit anymore (particularly chest coverage) so I went for the red square neck. I got a medium and I’m really happy with it. Holds everything right where it should and is super flattering!

Size down?

I have several minimalists and while I love them I was super excited for this particular silhouette. I tried it during the sale assuming the fit would be the same but it’s about a half size bigger than the minimalist. I wish I had sized down (of course no dice in final sale!). It’s mostly just the top layer of fabric that kind of sags, especially around the neck line. But I dont think it gives the same overall snatch as the minimalist, which I hope is just a sizing rather than design issue. I’m 5’4” 117, 30E. TLDR: dont assume that you should get the same size as you do your minimalist OG; you may need to size down.
