Perfect for shallow holes.

My husband used to work as a machinist, and when I handed him this hole saw he got the spontaneous need to purchase the whole set. We used this hole saw to make holes to mount a new lunette ring to our trailer. We had to substitute to a cheap bi-metal one because the inside throat wasn't deep enough to get all the way through the material even after lathing off the shoulder. Cut like a dream while supplied with cutting fluid, and the material we were cutting through was 2 inches of hardened steel. Almost perfect, but we're still getting the whole set. If you make a deep cut version, we will be getting that set as well.
