Envy of the office

I bought a box of Blackwing pencils thinking I’d quietly elevate my note-taking game. What I didn’t expect was to spark an all-out graphite arms race in the office. Within days, coworkers began circling my desk like seagulls at a picnic. “Oh, what’s that?” they’d ask innocently, eyeing the sleek barrel and gold ferrule like it was a Fabergé egg. Anyway, these write like butter, feel like luxury, and smell faintly like sophistication. 10/10 would cause office-wide pencil envy again.
