Small Cube Shape Tray

The small cube tray feels very space inefficient and wasteful of water. It seems like this could have been designed to stack 2 high to make 32 cubes if one row had small holes at the bottom. I have tried re-using the water for multiple batches but I find a lot of impurities in the water after the first freezing, so not ideal. Really disappointed with this purchase and plan to eventually replace this with something else in the future. Wish I returned this when I had a chance.
