I’m the type of person who has to touch and see, the real thing, to feel confident in my choices. This yarn sample card was helpful in that regard. It came very quickly so I will definitely order the large quantity of yarn for my first colourwork sweater project from Lichen and Lace.

A shade card - Brilliant idea!

A shade card, what an excellent idea! Who can tell the exact colour of a yarn from a computer screen? There is nothing like holding the actual piece of yarn and testing it under different lights to determine the best colour match. Choosing colours and textures is one of the great joys (and thrills!) of knitting. This shade card makes it all that more satisfying. Every single designer should offer their own shade card for all of their yarns! It is such a USEFUL tool for a knitter who loves colour! !
