Love It!

3.75 DUPR This paddle replaced a Selkirk ERA Power Widebody. Definitely feel more "pop" to my drives and overheads. I love the Hex Grit. I feel like I'm better able to control my spins. Hopefully it won't wear off in 6 months. Added 6g of weight total to the sides because the lighter weight was causing some elbow soreness. $160.00 out the door (with discount) makes this paddle a good value.

Boy do i love this paddle. I am coming from a J2CR and its a great power paddle, but you just have to be so precise with it. This paddle has great control and forgiveness, and i dont see much power dropoff.

I am coming from the Vapor All-Court and the Vapor Jelly Bean 2 is the bomb

I am coming from the Vapor All-Court, a paddle I truly love. So I was hoping the new Vapor Jelly Bean was an improvement in every way. And it is, almost. First, the good. This paddle plays like the Vapor All-Court. If you have not played with an All-Court paddle, you should. Most people should. You don't need more power, you need more control. This new Vapor Jelly Bean is all that. It plays with control, spin, and soft placement. It gives what you put in. If you are dropping the ball, it drops it with soft perfection. If you want spin, it has some of the best spin available. If you want to drop the ball to your opponent's backhand, it will do that. In short, it enables your game. It is not a 'power' paddle, but you don't need more power. You need more control, and this is the paddle to do it. It took me but a short while to adjust from the Vapor All-Court. If you are coming from a paddle with a different play 'profile,' it may take you a bit of time to adjust. But now that I have, the Vapor Jelly Bean 2 is absolutely the paddle I prefer. The only 2 things that deviate (for me) from the ideal all-court paddle are these: 1) It is just a bit heavy in terms of swing weight. While this is a trade-off between twist weight (the paddle's ability to still hit a good shot when you hit off-center) and swing weight, I would prefer a bit lighter. 2) Pop. This paddle has a bit more pop than the Vapor All-Court. Not much, but I noticed it coming from the Vapor All-Court. Both of those are small differences from the Vapor All-Court. If you like the Vapor All-Court, after a short period of adjustment, you will love, love, love this paddle. If you are coming from another paddle looking for an all-court paddle, BUY THIS PADDLE. Give yourself a bit of time to adjust, but this paddle will do exactly what you put into it.
