These turned out great! They are easily assembled, held in place with good 12guard steal clamping, and are about an inch and a half higher clearance then the OEM, protecting your vehicle from obscure load related damage. They secure ladders well and seem very sterdy. I haven't applied any expanded racking on it though from my impression of the assembly I wouldn't forsee a problem with a pair of bikes or kayaks being fassened to these mounting bars.
