Love these pants
I already had these Chaplin boat pants in tomato colour and couldn’t wait to get them in black. They are such a classy item that can be dressed up or super dressed up. Very flattering cut. Beautiful with a pair of medium or high heels.

These pants are giving gala gown
I am 5"2. I ordered a 28" hem. These boat pants are beautiful and work on me with the 4.75" heel. They are giving gown vibes with the statement of a pant. I will be wearing them with Sorel Brex Heel Cozy Lace Bootie in black and white, a Talbots ribbon waistcoat, and an Anne Mulaire Comforta soutien-gorge en bambou. And accessories! Love, love, love! Bring on the Junos, Canadian Folk Music Awards, and East Coast Music Week! I will be wearing these flamboyant 70s throw-back boatpants to all of these events!
