Have to go considerably higher than the 1 psi as advertised to get flow.

Check valve prevents about 1/3 of furnace and A/C condensate pump’s volume from draining back into reservoir thereby greatly extending pump’s efficiency and life. Valve is but a mere fraction of pump’s cost. Barb stem makes installation simple into the existing 1/2” plastic line.

Works just as advertised. I installed this on an RV water system. It's submerged and works great so far.
