Comfortable and versatile

I bought my first pair of Charlie Stone shoes from a third party stockist that sold other vintage inspired clothing items. I had never heard of the brand before but took a chance as they happened to have just one pair of size 37s left (my size) and they were heavily discounted. They were the Peta flats in cream and I found them so beautiful and comfortable that I immediately wanted to get more similar style flats and found my way to the Charlie Stone website. I was torn between the black and the red Singapore flats but ultimately went with the black as I thought they'd get more wear. I was mostly pleased with them - same wide toebox as the Peta flats (I have wide feet from years going barefoot as a child) and I really like the slightly elevated heel which makes them a lot more comfortable than truly flat flats. My only minor gripe is that I think the ankle straps are a bit too long for me - they are already loose on the tightest hole and so I anticipate I'll need to punch extra ones soon. I don't have this issue with my Peta ones - I've got them on the second loosest hole currently so I will easily be able to do them up tighter as the leather softens with wear. I guess this is just down to variability between shoe styles, but it is a little annoying. Overall I was very pleased with the shoes however. They look perfect with my 1940s inspired outifts but equally good with my modern workwear (I have no interest in wearing heels to work) - I liked them so much I ended up getting the red ones as well

Elegant and comfortable

I wear them to work during the day, and they're perfect for that. They're very comfortable, enough to wear all day, and they look very elegant with my work outfits ! They're perfect for me !

Great, perfect fit and cute

As soon as I received them the Singapore were perfect : they fit perfectly, they are comfortable, they look cute and complement every outfit. Love them!
