Very late with a review, but these Zen Blades are in my Ibanez SRMS806 and they really brought this bass to life being paired to an Audere Pro Z preamp and 3 way switches for parallel/"single coil"/series. Very balanced, some say "polite", but with a little tweaking and throwing them in series and they get really aggressive. They're among my favorite pickups now.

These are hands down the best sounding pickups I have played ! Used these on a 5 string multi scale bass and they worked perfectly. If you are thinking about these just buy them, you will be happy you did. Dan
