Paradise Fibers 14.5 Micron Ultra Fine Merino and Cashmere Wool Blend - Cake Batter

Wonderful stuff - My second purchase -

I liked this when I got my first 4oz so decided on another batch - this time 8oz. My plan is to dye some of it with some natural dye I'm fermenting right now and then blend some of that with a range of natural colored cashmere I've had in my stash for a while. While costly - THE FACT IS that CAKE BATTER blend really IS superior. I don't ply it... (at least not so far). I like to knit hats with singles of different colors, textures, wool, silk etc. My fav patterns are from "Mary Thomas's Book of Knitting Patterns". I used some of this 'Cake Batter' where my hat touches my skin and the less soft yarns in the rest of the hat. Makes super neck rings too.

Incredibly soft!

I blended this luscious fiber with some prime English Angora and was able to spin a supremely soft sport weight. Fiber drafts beautifully, can’t wait to dye the yarn. Softest, smoothest fiber I have every experienced.
