J'ai déjà réalisé l'iris dans les tons bleus violacés, mais j'ai craqué sur ce modèle. Les couleurs sont magnifiques. Cela me permettra de profiter toute l'année de la même variété que j'ai dans le jardin. En réel, c'est un enchantement, j'ai hâte de voir la version en peinture à l'aiguille. Merci trish pour tous ces superbes modèles et conseils que vous nous proposer. Les explications sont si claires que même en étant novice, nous pouvons réaliser de belles choses. Bravo

Spartan Iris and Forget Me Knot Pattern

I was looking for patterns to decorate my graduation cap and I fell in love with Trish Burr’s patterns. I bought the Spartan Iris pattern and downloaded the free Forget Me Knot pattern as well as added some leaves of my own and got to work on my cap. Her instructions are simple to follow and I liked how she had a list of colors so I could get the same thread. I never used the long and short stitch technique but soon got the hang of it. I was also able to find her collection of tutorial videos on YouTube which helped tremendously. I couldn’t find a black fabric with a high enough thread count so I used one that had 120 and was nervous to embroider on it but it held together well. I’m incredibly satisfied with the result and got a lot of complements on my cap. I’m very happy that I was able to come across Trish Burr’s work! :^)
