A study of the Holy Spirit in the Bible is one that is often overlooked because it is considered difficult to understand. Because of the various false teachings on this topic, it is a subject about which every Christian should have a high degree of knowledge. Brother Rogers has done an excellent and thorough study of the topic. This is a well thought out and researched book on the Holy Spirit in the Bible. Mr. Rogers sticks with the scriptures during his discussions and does not depend on opinions or speculations about the matter. It is written as a class book format with questions at the end of each of the 13 chapters. The questions are thought-provoking and stick to the subject of the chapter. I chose the PDF format licensed for use by the whole congregation and I really appreciate having this option for smaller congregations assuming you have the resources to print and bind the material for your use. I highly recommend this book for your individual study up to and including congregational study.

Subject Thoroughly Covered

Most workbooks on the Holy Spirit leave omit 1 or 2 controversial subjects, but the author, Heath Rogers, covers every topic and does so very well. One may not agree with all his positions, but it is good to be able to study them.

Great Resource

This series of studies on the Holy Spirit have been very helpful. The course is divided into aspects to consider for various, important aspects regarding the Holy Spirit. The ready made slides save a lot of time in preparing for each lesson, and make it easy for participants to follow along. The bible passages cited in the book are relevant and bring for good discussions in our class study.
