Got the Hal-O III-65 for my 300B tubes which are all a bit microphonic to some degree. They really do make the backgrounds, blacker, and let more resolution come through.

A really good investment..
Anyone running tubes knows the lengths we got, to get the best sound we possibly can! I'm running AM833S and RT-3 amps and preamp, with a Lampizator Horizon DAC - so lots of tubes! I fitted the HAL-O III stabilizers to all the tubes I could get them for (just waiting on 833 and acc (ecc88) to be back in stock. There is definitely a greater, softer clarity as a result, probably more in the mids and highs, as you'd expect. I'll run them on every tube I can from now on. A lot of gain for a (relatively) small investment!

A profound upgrade
I had the SS dampers for many years on my 12AU7 preamp tubes. I decided to upgrade to the Hal-O III. The difference is NOT subtle. A more expansive, holographic presentation. Vocals are silky smooth and crystal clear. The dynamics from top to bottom are mind blowing! Before you upgrade your tubes, I highly recommend trying the Hal-O III tube dampers which will improve your current tubes performance by a factor of 10. For those with the SS or RS dampers due yourself a favor and upgrade to the Hal-O III, you will thank me later.
