great performance but the scent is slightly different

I really like the performance of the soap and the matching EdP is definitely on par. Great longevity as it lasts throughout the entire work day in a physically demanding environment and the projection remains throughout. The scent isn't exactly the same as the soap though for me. I can't quite put my finger on what the difference is but the touch of sweetness that I get from the soaps scent isn't there. What remains sooooort of reminds me of B&M Fougere Aromatique which unfortunately just wasn't for me.
