Good shoes but not genuine issue

These RAF parade shoes are ok, but not genuine issue shoes. There is no NATO Stock Number, size, contract number in them. The leather is not to the same standard as issue shoes and the toe box is soft and not reinforced. They required fully stripping and beeswaxing to achieve the correct shine. The sole is also too soft and not the correct profile around the welt.

You may need a bigger size

I normally take a size 9, but I couldn't get these on, so I sent them back. There was no hassle regarding my returning them. The size 10s which I received in exchange are also rather tight, but shouild relax with wear.
