Wrap Top Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

Cute pattern

I thought the pattern directions were very easy to understand and the dress was simple to make. After making the first one, I did shorten the skirt a little as it seemed a bit long. I rather liked the wider waistband. Making it to narror does not give it that unique look. I also liked making this in 2 different but coordinating fabrics. I tried to download pictures. I hope rhey attach. I had a lot of friends that loved the dresses that I made from this pattern.

Good pattern after some modifications

I enjoyed this pattern after some modifications were made. I shortened the height of the waistband and the skirt length. I also changed the shape of the skirt slightly and cut it in one big length on a curve instead of three pieces. I also made the side seams larger to ensure a more form fitting bodice.

Loved the pattern

Super cute dress. Pattern printed perfectly. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Fit American Girl perfectly. My daughter loved it.
