Shield works great and functions as advertised. Maybe not the absolute best sun mitigation during full sun exposure vs. a deeply tinted lens, but it's far better as a 'do it all' option. Keep in mind that the lens does not come with a pinlock shield, so you'll need to add one of those to your order or borrow from another lens you have.

What I needed

This transition shield was tricky to find for the X-15. Good price, fast shipping, and an excellent shield. Very pleased.
