Just buy this if you're replacing the clutch! My old throw-out bearing destroyed the surface on my transmission case and I would be buying a whole new one if it wasn't for this little miracle. Even if I was swapping in a new trans, I would still install this part as a sacrificial surface to replace down the road if ever needed. Sounds a little funny (echo/drone noise) pushing in the clutch pedal in lower gears at certain RPMs, but it works and that's all that matters sometimes. I never realized how much effort I was putting in with my left foot until I got this, now it's almost too easy the clutch in & out. Where's all the resistance??? Was it always supposed to be this easy?
