Beautiful drum with nice sound; great price for beginners. There was an issue with the original drum I received. I emailed Darbuka Planet and explained the problem, and a replacement arrangement was made VERY quickly. I appreciate businesses that care about their customers, and that's what I experienced. I will definitely shop here for my next drum.

Bright sound, lovely color

My first aluminum darbuka is this medium size, deep crimson Zaza Percussion drum. I have not retuned it much, just noodled around to find my hand positions and find the best strike zones. The sound is quite good under my mediocre playing, with a ringing Tak and a rich Doum. I am happy with this darbuka. Well packaged, shipped fast. Some slight cosmetic issues with the head. The finish on the metal is lovely.
