LED strips great - but don’t buy the driver - it’s expensive (3x price) and dims wrongly

The Waveform “CENTRIC” driver isn’t intended for warm-dim strips. It applies: • Gamma correction • High-frequency PWM dimming • Internal smoothing curves All of these are meant for single-CCT LED strips, not dual-channel warm-dim tapes. When you feed a warm-dim strip through this kind of driver: • A small change in triac angle becomes a big change in PWM duty • The warm-dim strip interprets this as a command to go deep warm immediately • Then everything collapses to darkness as the driver ramps down too aggressively EMIT ever drivers (amazon) are $89 and far better suited for dim to warm LEDs - I hope I will get a refund for my 7 drivers - installed and now suffering bad dimming curves.

Professional quality

I installed Waveform Lighting’s 3000K under-cabinet LEDs, and they are exactly what I was looking for — just the right color temperature, not too warm and not too commercial. Brightness level is perfect, I was also concerned about light output but these are great. The dimmable power supply works flawlessly, and the whole setup feels very high quality and well-built. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a professional-grade under-cabinet solution.
