The skylight is the best answer to seeing what's going on on the shell plate while reloading. I have used several different options but the skylight is out of the way, provides plenty of bright light to see issues as well as the reloading process on my Dillon. Easily moves to different tool heads with any effort.

Illumination

This is a great light set! The top light makes it easy to see powder levels in cartridge cases. And it’s easy to pop on and out of the toolhead so I can use it on different calibers with little fuss.

Light kit and mount

i bought 2 used presses one had the light kit already installed and me being as cheap as i am tried flashlight method and a side light but nothing compared to the other presses light so i had to buy it love them and they are essential when reloading looked around at cheaper ones butspent the extra for quality and if you know its hard to get a dollar out of me might add if you are limted on space and have multiple machine there stands and base plates are great too alot of thought has gone into it you can tell
