Works as advertised

5 stars for accurate advertising - these are designed for milder temperatures and are perfect for such conditions, especially as an "everyday" glove. Otherwise, my overall impression of them is the same as the other review left here before me. In terms of sizing, the chart provided on the website is pretty accurate, but they will *just* fit if followed closely; if more room is desired, best to order at least one size up, also as stated in the other review. Do not expect these to work that well in windy conditions, but again, they are not advertised as being windproof so that is perfectly fine.

Great Gloves

I recently bought a new pair of Hot Paws fleece gloves to replace my original ones that are now around 20 years old. My new Hot Paws are just the same as my originals and keep my hands just as warm. I walk 7 to 10km outside every day around Haliburton county in Ontario, and it gets very cold here. My Hot Paws gloves keep my hands warm in -20 degree C temperatures. I purchased the gloves online without being able to try them on for size fit, relying on hand measurements and the size fitting chart for my decision to go with the S/M size. I found the size to be a bit tight when I first put them on, but they have worked in after two weeks to be quite comfortable. If you are worried about the correct size to buy to have a more loose fit, I would recommend up sizing. I am very happy with my new gloves and I still have the old ones as backups. Though my original Hot Paws are showing some wear, they still keep my hands warm.

Perfect Gloves - Perfect Name

I bought my first pair in Nova Scotia where they were definitely needed. These are perfect for just staying warm. They are soft and comfy, but I don't use them for working where hard wear would be a factor. But for driving or just keeping warm they are perfect. I now live in Oregon, U.S.A., so I don't get to use them much (it just doesn't gef very cold for very long), but for a few days I get to enjoy them greatly. I really look forward to "cold" days. Besides, how could you not love the perfect name: Hot Paws!! I did find that the size runs just a tad small, but not too small to be usable. I will order a size up in the future, if these ever wear out. I had my first pair for 17 years, and they were like new. I gave them away this winter to someone who needed them, but due to "separation anxiety" :-) I ordered more for myself and family. If you want something soft and comfy that will last, with grip surfaces on palm and thumb, try these.
