Color cord always stocks great hardware. Their products empower people to follow their creative flow of lamp building, seamlessly. The metal cord grips i have purchased are great. Nothing to complain about. They do exactly what you need them to do, and nothing less. The matte black, and brass versions are very accurate in the pictures. I prefer the metal ones over the plastic every time. They have a sense of better grip/hold power once secured onto the cord. They lock down easier, and they look clean. More than the plastic ones.

Perfect little piece of hardware. Used it with a porcelain socket/cover. Prefer not using plastic, this securely holds a heavy, old iron Mexican fixture. The whole project came out fantastic using turquoise cord.
