Good stuff but not perfect if you're replacing cheaper cord

We replaced a too-short cord on a ceiling pendant that we needed to swag over before installing our light. I like the look of the champagne rayon shine cord I purchased instead of the cheap white plastic coated original cord even though it was a level darker than I expected from web photos. the real problem was, it was a smidge wider than the original because of the cloth covering, and was difficult to shove through the factory openings made for a slightly narrower (though same gauge) cord. The fabric wanted to wrinkle up and unravel instead of going through. We got it done with sweat and curses.
