I use this tool for Bulk production cooking of meat pie mixes. The paddle is very well made and designed. It’s the perfect weight for breaking up meat when browning in a Bratt pan. Also the price is extremely good for a brilliant tool. As a Chef I’m very picky about all tools and equipment, this was a great find. Thank you guys.

Good paddle

This thing is a monster, and is coming in handy for a few grain mashes already. Not that I have one, but if the light duty one is the same size, opt for this. It needs that strong connection between handle and paddle.

So, yes, maybe I went overboard with the paddle purchase, but I'm loving it! Its huge and can do it all. No more paddles that soften in the hot mash. Its also very useful for initial airing of the brew before yeast addition.
