Much better than original

I had original aluminum carrier's threads stripped beyond repair so I ordered this brass one. This was the best price on the internet and it arrived within specified amount of time. Staff at CA were very helpful confirming that I was ordering correct part for my grinder. Once part arrived, I discovered that bottom threads are also partially stripped and top carrier would not screw in for more than 2 threads. I was searching for the way to get threads repaired and getting nowhere. Then I decided to force top carrier little by little to "rethread" bottom threads and after about an hour was able to make it all the way down. All thanks to brass threads of new carrier as it is much harder metal than aluminum. Not my first excellent experience at CA. Keep up the good work!

Glad to find a replacement

This part did the trick after I stripped the old burr carrier threads. Saved me from having to replace the grinder. Note that mine included everything shown in the pics.

Did the job

First of all service from Coffee Addicts was fantastic. They managed to get the part much faster than expected and they were a pleasure to deal with. The part is great but not as pictured. The black plastic top and halfmoon stop adjustment are not part of the package. You get the brass burr carrier with new burr screws. The rest of the parts you need to re-use from the old carrier. Which is not an issue. I used this part to replace the original all aluminum carrier that developed damaged threads. I used a tap to clean up the threads in the grinder body and installed the new brass carrier. It took longer to dial my grind back in .
