Gift Card, But Not a Card

I purchased a gift card online for my spouse for his birthday. I was disappointed that it was just an email code, instead of an actual card. I get it that it is more environmentally friendly not to have a plastic card. Couldn’t it be cardboard? Something that looks nice to give as a gift, rather than just a printout from an email? I would have paid extra for the postage to receive that. I’ve been shopping here for many years, so still love the products. Just think this could be better.
