Some Railing Issues

I ordered 2 12' red oak railings and 2 8' red oak railings. I received 2 12' and 1 16' railing--which turned out to be a blessing. The 16' railing had been damaged in shipment, with a splinter/gouge around 3' from one end. One of the 12' railing was curved about 2"-3" inches. But, because we have the 16' railing and that we decided to put a railing on just one side of the enclosed area of the stairs, we can make what we have work. If you want pictures of the splinter/gouge, the packaging of the same, or the curved railing, I am happy to provide.
