Rancilio 8mm Group Head Gasket

The 8mm gasket is a bit thin and allows the portafilter to rotate past the middle of the grouphead. I thought it should start off a bit tighter upon initial install. Is this as designed or shouod it be slightly thicker?

8.5 mm will be better

Worked, but too thin, the handle go too far away.
