Joy Shorts

I'm happily creating a simplified version of these ruffled hemmed shorts (no pockets or belt loops) and am having a great time. So much detail. Well written instructions. You too can have a good time with this pattern!

Joy Shorts,,,, WOW!

I love love love this pattern!. However I made a few changes.. I left out the belt loops because waist has elastic. I left out the pockets but kept the pocket flaps and added a button on each. I added 1/4" to the ruffle for a slightly longer ruffle. I used a small piece of Velcro for Fly with 2 more buttons for show. Try it and I promise you an even cuter pair of shorts! The directions are fantastic. I figured out the fly but wished the was a close up picture on step 62.
