Nothing short of incredible
Having used typical shop vacs from both Shopvac and Ridgid I could not believe the difference in performance, efficiency, noise level, features and dust extraction capability of the Festool CT MIDI I. After attaching the MIDI to my Milwaukee track saw, I couldn’t see any dust anywhere which was quite a departure from what I have been accustomed to. Yes, the Festool is pricey however if you value your lungs and you insist on highest level of dust extraction capability, then it is worth every single penny spent to buy one.

Awesome dust collector
Highly recommended... It took me a while to bite the bullet and invest the money into new tool system. I've been using Milwaukee tools for years, recently was looking to get new sander, but not just to replace my old one, but needed something a bit better for my hands. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis, so prolonged sanding is a bit painful and makes my hands tingling for hours afterwards. So I started digging into review and festool kept coming up as the best choice for my situation. Then was looking at the dust collection, I'm using rigid shop vac and every tool I use needs a different adapter to hook up to the ship vac... It's a pain in the rear trying to keep track which attachment goes with which tool. The other thing is the quality of suction and filtration, so again started reading up in reviews and the festool dust collectors come on the top. I was hesitant as to the price of the units and the tools in general. Best money ever spent. I don't feel any pain in my hands anymore, the system works like a charm with no dust flying around, and all I need is one power cord and the hose that came with the unit to hook up all my festool tools without chasing the adapters. Highly recommended if you get a chance to upgrade to the festool line of tools you won't regret it.
