I ordered what is equivalent to size 9, the shoe was a little loose, the info on line says it should be tight. I had bought the $4.95 insurance which came in handy, I shipped the shoes back, with no problem. I now have the size which is equivalent to size 8.75 They are tight, so I am wearing them around the house. hope they streach. my toes is on the end! Beautiful shoe!

My favorite shoes!
I had to adjust the sizing at the first order, however, the return and customer service were excellent. I adjusted to the next size up and they fit like a glove!

I've been trying to break in these shoes since I received delivery. My right big toe on the top and left side still gets very sore after normal wear for an hour. The toenail is short and filed but it still rubs. I doubt if these shoes will work for me on my upcoming trip to Ireland. Without socks as you advised, they feel sticky and the loose insole pops up when I pull my foot out of the shoe. So far, I can't justify the price.
