Excellent Chess Mat

I was looking for a portable chess board that I could carry in a small bag. This mat exceeded my expectations, by far. It's a full-sized club board with a mildly textured surface that feels good to the touch, can be rolled up, folded, and always unravels to lie flat without any creases or folds. It adheres firmly and surprisingly looks excellent on my burred oak tabletop at home, better even than my old wooden veneer board, which it has now replaced. You would be hard pressed to find a better buy.

My new favorite chess board.

I'm glad I found the Flex Pad Chess Board. I like to buy things that are good solid quality but not necessarily luxurious. I can't imagine a better board for someone who want's to unroll a board and play. The board lies flat on the table, appears to be durable and look good. Perfect.
