BACtrack Breathalyzer Calibration

calibration done but not really

I sent My older device in for Calibration, as it was a few points off from the newer device I own. It was sent back to me and I again tested against the newer device and is still off. I'm not sure what calibration entails but I thought it would make it actually accurate at base or "zeroline" save your money on calibration and just buy a new one

Just sent it in for calibration. It was returned promptly, but I would have liked to know the outcome, whether it needed it and how much it was off, to get an indication on how much I can rely on its accuracy over time and how often I should send it in. Great and accurate device. I find it very useful sticking it a pocket when going out to have it handy just in case. I never use the app feature so could live with that not being there. I have had this device for 4 years where it has worked prefectly.

Relatively Easy Calibration

I have several BACtrack Mobile breathalyzers. When I noticed one reading far lower than the others, I paid the reasonable fee and dropped it off at a UPS store. Within two weeks, I had a freshly calibration device that differed from the others by only 0.002%. BACtrack breathalyzers are handy devices I have found to have great utility over the years.
