Wax Seal Highlighting Ink Pads

Too expensive!

The products were beautifully packaged, but I cannot justify the cost again. The images on the wax seals are a bit rustic and not well delineated. The silicone tools are great! Was excited to try the inks but they were a dud. May need more practice with them. Bottom line, way too expensive and the great selection of images was largely, very old fashioned and could use a fresher look.

Works as described -- wish I'd bought some sooner!

The highlighting ink works great. I find it helps to slide the stamp across (sideways) on some paper after inking (right before stamping) - this removes most of the ink from the flat (blank) portion of your stamp image and increases the highlighting effect where you want it most.

Salvaging a Difficult Stamp

I decided to try the technique suggested here after I could find no way to successfully highlight a particular stamp with the usual wax seal pens. Since my wax was an antique pearl color I chose the rose gold & couldn't be happier with the delicately beautiful wax seals that emerged. The design did indeed pop.
