Simple to Play and Sounds Excellent!

I'm really enjoying this instrument! It's a super simple instrument to play and sounds excellent! I'm not one who has developed the skill to read standard music notation yet. Mostly I play by ear. I have been playing this instrument for just two days and am already playing, "Amazing Grace," and, "Angels We Have Heard on High." It's a very portable instrument if you want to take it with you on hikes or a walk in the park. I know I'm going to be having a lot of fun with this instrument for years to come.

It is a delight to play. I'm impressed with the craftsmanship, but wonder about the choice of the cut of lumber for the soundboard. I was expecting it to be quarter sawn, which is the cut used in the very best high-end instruments, but found that the soundboard was made from flat sawn wood, which doesn't have the best acoustic properties.
