Baltic Amber Dark Green

It's Not Very Green

It's not quite what I expected. The images weren't super clear so I made an assumption that I was going to get a dark, earthy green. The beads are mostly brown, with a lot of sediment so the beads that are not brown are opaque with lots of rough areas. To be fair, the sediment is what makes the amber green, from what I have read, But it doesn't appear to be sediment encased in amber, it's just a full bead of sediment. I would recommend just choosing one of the prettier traditional brown amber necklaces. The necklace is well-tied and I like the size of the beads and the way they subtly taper to the clasp at the back. The clasp is easy to use and feels solid.
