Very impressed with the heft and the quality of the finish on the copper version, and would recommend it in a heartbeat. In fact, it was so good that I was somewhat disappointed to find the machining and finish on the original version (the one with the seven grooves) didn't measure up to it, once I received the brass one I subsequently ordered.

I’ve had my bamboo fountain pen for about a week now. This is my first experience writing with a fountain pen so it’s an adjustment. It took a couple times to get the hang of it but it writes amazing! The pen itself is lighter than I thought would be but it is the EN version. It goes in my pocket and I don’t even notice it’s there. I do have to remember to not leave the cap off very long or takes a bit for the ink to flow again. I don’t write for long periods of time, more like write, look up info, write more, repeat. So between writing I have to put the cap on. Overall I love it! I’m looking forward to getting different colors and nib sizes. My next purchase will be the rollerball / fineliner. After using the bamboo I may get the brass one instead of the EN for a heavy weight. Great job as expected Jason.

Top Quamity and Design

As with the regular Alpha pens, quality is top notch. The bamboo design is just enough without being overdone. The Ti version is one the best balanced pens to handle and exceptional writing with the Montblanc refill.
