OK except for black edges next to magenta

I am printing photos on these cards with an Epson Sylus Pro 3880. Everything looks pretty good, with accurate colors EXCEPT there is a big problem with black ink bleeding when there should be a sharp edge. I have a pink flower on a black background. The black ink bleeds into the pink in every area where the 2 colors are adjacent. It's very bad. Disappointing since everything else looks good.
