Platinum Plaisir Fountain Pen - Black

What a wonderful entry level fountain pen!

Very smooth writing with this pen (fine nib). I loved my platinum preppy because of its nib. However, it was broken and I wanted to upgrade the look with the same nib. Here comes the platinum plaisir. The look is simple and it writes very smoothly.

A phenomenally good quality pen

I bought this on a whim after watching Brian Goulet espouse the qualities of this pen on YouTube. I needed a everyday carry replacement for a fountain pen that holds significant sentimental value, that I don't want to lose. I did not expect much at this price point. This is a phenomenally constructed pen. I am usually a Medium nib person, but this Fine nib was pretty great too. The writing experience is nice, and the pen feels surprisingly compact, ergonomic in the hand after a while. I did have some challenges to adjust my cursive writing style to this instrument, but I was not disappointed once I felt the smooth way in which this pen deposits ink onto paper. This is also a great value for the construction quality that this pen offers. They claim that this ink doesn't dry even after a year, and I have to believe them due to the beautiful mechanism they have developed for the pen cap. The locking motion is delightful, and overall, this pen offers a quality experience, that only aids in ones' writing endeavors.

Nice Pen

I’ve enjoyed having a fountain. Pen that doesn’t always have to require some “recharge” to write with it after each use. Love that I can use the famous carbon platinum ink with it.
