Robert Oster Black Violet
All of Robert Oster colors, at least the ones I've tried, have worked perfectly. They flowed with no mishaps. However, Black Violet is so black that a pen with a fine nib produces a line which is hard to distinguish from black. Perhaps a medium or broad nib would show more of the purple.

Beautiful ink — awful plastic bottle
I love this ink with its dark plum, almost black color; it has a wonderful contrast on both a stark white and a cream colored paper. The cream colored paper gives it a bit of an antiquated look. I’m looking forward to trying it on parchment paper. However … I was disappointed with the cheap plastic bottle. No matter how Oster attempts to come across as “planet-saving”, it still screams Cheap and this ink deserves better. It leaves me with purchasing an inkwell if I want to continue with this ink since I rather like my glass ink bottles. 5 STARS for the ink. 0 for the plastic bottle.

Great set writer
Saw a list saying this ink was dry. It drys quick but it writes wet which to me, make the pen feel smoother and not sluggish like it would with some dryer inks
