Robert Oster Lake of Fire - 50ml Bottled Ink

Fabulous!

This is my new favorite ink. Beautiful, dries quickly. Looks great in my TWSBI indigo blue with bronze accents.

Nice Blue Color but little sheen for me

I like the ink, and all the Robert Oster inks ive tried for that matter. It flows well and looks great. I was hoping for more red sheen though. Ive tried it in my 1.5 mm stub nibs and still get barely any sheen unless i intentionally overwet the nib by dipping it or "forcing" it through. Even my swabs show hardly any. Ive tried it on quite a few good papers as well. Still happy with it overall.

Favorite Ink Color

I throw this right into my Parker ‘51’ and it’s ready to just glide across my Rhodia dotpads like icing on a cake. The blue has fantastic depth and is professional enough for workplace note taking. Strong Reccomend.
