Rohrer & Klingner Alt-Goldgrun - 50ml Bottled Ink

What a gorgeous color ink. The green is so smooth and glides on the paper so effortlessly. I immediately filled it in my Esterbrook Botanical Garden fine nib pen and began writing. I am over the moon happy with this ink.

A very nice green. not a dull olive green. It remindes me of the peridot greens in Folkart acrylic paints that truly look gold-green. I plan to use it to try illuminating along with gouach for calligraphic lettering on the right paper. It will feather a bit on rougher or water color papers which aren't the ideal support for this type of ink , but it still held up on the smoother back side of a sheet of watercolor paper with a dip pen. As a fountain pen ink I really enjoy it. Hope you will too.
