Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo - 50ml Bottled Ink

I really like this ink. It is a dark teal, which is very nice, dark enough to work in dim light, but light enough to be cheerful. As expected it is very smooth and wet.

Growing up, I always hated the basic blue pen inks you'd get from ballpoints at the store - for whatever reason, I always found it kind of repulsive, and I never enjoyed writing with it. When I got into fountain pens & fancy inks I was holding onto that same resistance to blue inks. This is the one that fully broke that spell over me; Iroshizuku take-sumi is my every day black ink and I adore it. Tsuki-yo has the same great flow, the same great experience of writing with it, with an additional beautiful sheen & shading ranging from blue to purple. A beautiful, beautiful ink.
