Pilot Namiki Black - 60ml Bottled Ink

A Go To in a Great Bottle

I have dozens of inks, including some lovely boutique inks, but Pilot Black is my go-to. For his birthday, I built a set of pens, inks, and notebooks. This was one of the two oils in the box. I went with the Namiki because it’s the same great ink in such an elegant bottle. Can’t recommend highly enough.

First time buyer of Pilot Namiki ink, but the first 2 pen fills of my fountain pen have show the ink comes out evenly & drys quickly. My only issue is the ink isn’t quite as black as I’d hoped.

A good water-soluble black ink

I like this ink a lot. I believe it is the same as the black that comes in the Pilot cartridges. If there’s a difference, I haven’t noticed. I like it for everyday use where water cleanup is desirable, and I also enjoy drawing with it and then “melting parts of the drawing with a water brush…. The bottle is very cool, and the plastic cone insert makes it possible to get all of the ink out of the bottom.
