Platinum Carbon Black - 60ml Bottled Ink

Quick Drying, won't smear. A bit of a problem with quick drying on the nib (you have to use it very often). Aside from that I absolutely love this ink!

Smooth and is Definitely Waterproof

I had a few inks in my collection marketed as "water resistant" or even straight up waterproof. None of then stood up to the tests I put them through and all smudged terribly. I am transcribing my mother's favorite novel as a Christmas gift, so anything less than waterproof was a no go. This ink held up great with minimal movement with a waterbrush. I even tested sweaty fingers and licked a finger and ran it over the writing to make doubly sure, and it held up perfectly! I am incredibly happy with this ink and will by buying more once I run out. It's also worked well in the TWSBI Eco I have put it in, despite the pen being an extra fine. It might get a little dry without being used for a day or two, but it never had clogged on me, never skips, and always writes smoothly and reliably. I only wish that this ink was darker, as I know that Platinum's darkest black ink isn't as waterproof as this one is, and I much prefer a bolder and deeper black. This one, however, definitely isn't bad.
