Noodler's American Aristocracy - 3oz Bottled Ink

I am not sure which of the three colors I got except it is not the darkest one. I love the color which to me looks like a dark maroon. It looks especially good when put down using a stub nib. The ink is quick drying and very wet writing. Maybe a little too wet, as it is prone to feathering and bleed-through on all my papers, even Rhodia, as is mentioned in other reviews. To me the feathering is not really noticeable much without a magnifying glass, especially on good paper, so I don't care. Overall one of my favorite inks.

Pretty ok color. I am aware of the variety this ink can have. However it just kinda came as ....... brown.

BINGO!

This ink is like playing senior night Bingo. You never know what color you'll get. I got the reddish brown color. Its a lovely color, reminds me of Diamine Oxblood - browner though. Its smooth and well lubricated but dry for Noodler's. Has excellent shading and I've seen NO sheen on any paper.
