Great! The water resistance and lubricants in the ink seem great!

Beautiful black, but very wet
Borealis Black is a beautiful intense black that will turn most pens into gushers. Fortunately for me, I was looking for a wet black ink for my fine nib Vanishing Point that was running too dry with most inks. It was a match made in heaven. The Capless now flows like a charm and the deep, dark black is a perfect match for the pen's matte black finish. In my opinion, inks, pens, and paper have to be matched, so I won't criticize an ink for being too wet or too dry. Somewhere, there's a pen that needs a wetter or drier ink. But in that spirit, be aware that this ink is not for all papers. It will soak right through porous papers. It behaves very well on smooth papers like Rhodia, but it takes a while to dry. I always mark my Noodler's boxes with a filled circle and the name in the ink itself. The surface of the box is glossy, so most inks just dry on the surface. Borealis Black is still wet from me marking the box over an hour ago and, predictably, I managed to smudge it.

Noodler’s Borealis Black Ink - 5 star plus
It dries instantly, it does not smear, it the density of coverage is very good, the “blackness” of the black ink is good, it flows easily through the 1.4 mm fiber-tip pen (YOOKERS) I use with the ink - I write rapidly so the flow must keep up. The inly suggestion I have is to increase the volume capacity of the ink bottle - it is filled to the top - I made a mess when I first opened it.
